10. I promise to always be true to myself and my clients, offering them Spiritual Healing at no extra cost during private consultations that take place within appropriate surrounds, if such healing is made apparent through Tarot Consultation or Energy Transference.
At the grand finale of my Code of Conduct and Ethics, I have placed I will always to true to myself and my clients! Many tarot in-doctrine tell us that we must never divulge, death, disease or divorce from our readings of the Tarot, due to the potential for fear or self-fulling prophecy. I have become now to believe that above all we owe our clients truth and honesty in all dealings.
This brings me to #6 - The Dilemma - I have been reading Tarot now for 32 years, over that time my depth of knowledge, intuition and psychic abilities have developed at a rate equal to my life experience. The cards do not lie, they can be interpreted in many ways, however when we tap into the energy of the Querent and intuitively read the spread set before us, a true professional reader, no longer places there own opinions upon the interpretation. The other weekend, I did five individual readings for, five clients from very different backgrounds. Of those five, two readings had four of the same cards within the spreads. I will not go into specifics, however placement, surrounding cards, energy & empath transferal from client and psychic imagery all combine to give these two readings into completely different 'stories', 'paths' and 'outcomes'.
Taking all of the above into account I no longer believe that I am able to, with full honesty fulfill my oath to never interpret any reading to represent death, disease or divorce. To do so I am not being true to myself or my client and therefore doing a dis-service to us both.
In conclusion, my Code of Conduct and Ethics will be amended and will now read;
6. I am not a fortune freak, I cannot predict next weeks winning lottery numbers.
1. I will serve the best interests of my clients, conducting my professional activities without causing or intending to cause harm or instilling fear.
Blessed Be!
